Rebecca & Niall’s English Countryside Wedding
The wedding of Irish Cricketer Niall O’Brien and Rebecca Bailey. This was Vivid Eye’s first location wedding in West Haddon, Northampton.
English Countryside Wedding
The location for me was the quintessential idea of the English countryside, rolling hills, old estates and sleepy villages. West Haddon is a small village in the countryside north of Northampton. It is very picturesque with a centuries old church and great village pub The Pytchley (where I stayed, I have to give it a plug as the food and local craft beer was excellent).
I arrived the day before and managed to meet Bex & Niall at their rehearsal in All Saint’s Church. It was great to meet the guys the day before and to recce the venue, a luxury I don’t often have.
The wedding day was a very relaxed and fun occasion. I was working with Bruno from Bruno Rosa Photography. We both worked with the same attitude, enjoying our work, having fun, being unobtrusive and letting the day flow.
Rebecca & Niall really enjoyed the build up to the ceremony, meeting friends and family. The ceremony itself with an amazing local choir was fantastic, Rebecca & Niall so visibly happy and enjoying the occasion. You can see their emotion in their wedding video trailer, two people really in love!
After the service, I got to film my first confetti line , something we don’t get in Ireland a lot.
The reception was in held in a marquee in the countryside. There was lots of open space for our video shoot with the couple and bridal party. As I finished up the party was in full swing with a great funky wedding band keeping everybody dancing
